This next Social Resources task is terrifying me. Everything about it is new to me the skills, the technology, the resources. To control my panic I know I need to get organised. I need to have a structured thought out plan to be able to approach this positively. I have read a lot of helpful hints on the companion site, talked to other students and compared thoughts on the discussion board to develop my frame and ideas. Then I followed on by exploring different sites and looking for different features that I thought would best help with my task. I have decided to create a celebration event starting with party invitations, for this I will be using punchbowl.com. Now I have my idea and my resource I am feeling more confident and less terrified of completing this.
Well what a journey this has been so far already . I still spend 4 hours doing what most could accomplish in 15 minutes but at least I am progressing , 3 weeks ago I would never of imagined I could set up my own website and add a hyperlink....The lecture was really great this week ,it helps when information you are given is what you really need. I am looking forward to finding great resources that I can link to this site , this actually is getting quite addictive....
Enrolling in this unit externally has had me worried from the start, technology is not my strongest point and most of my learning has developed by watching my children as they learn. I know to be a successful teacher I need to be confident and comfortable around technology and to do this I need to just have a go . After reading the first chapter of Meaningful learning with technology I am actually motivated to get into this unit, it has made me realise that there is so much out there to deve...
